Ted C. Roland got a degree in Philosophy from Sonoma State University, where he wrote a turgid, unreadable thesis on Philosophy & Film Studies. While studying, his labor was exploited as a videographer, tutor, and lecturer on the topics of film studies and introductory philosophy.
Since then, he moved to Germany, then back to California, settled in Oakland where he enjoys the fruits of vile gentrification. His outlook could be described as "pragmatically nihilistic," but more like "unpalatably fatalistic."
His life is a litany of unending bafflement.
